After 7 years of fighting the expected discomforts and changes of aging and menopause, I simply could not bare the creams and pills and “snake oil” remedies anymore. I just wasn’t me. I felt so tired all the time, but still tried to fight my weight by exercising after work and eating right. The weight continued to increase along with the belly fat. I was beyond unhappy. I was fighting a losing battle.

After being shown exactly how bad my hormone levels were, I happily had my first implant. (The lack of pain with that procedure was the first surprise.) I expected to feel no difference for a week or two. So I had to doubt myself when THE FIRST NIGHT I did not have a hot flash…at all…and still have not! 2 days later there was no denying that my libido was waking up…and that continued through the following days at an increasing pace. I was a new woman! I was me again! I got rid of all my creams!

Within a week I was not experiencing bladder leakage, which had been a continual problem the last 7 years. My heart flutters were much less frequent, and I was actually using my reading glasses less. It was hard to believe.

I felt calm, but energetic, ready for walking anytime and staying up later. I could get through the 2 p.m. slump at work with no problem…there was no slump! My craving for food was diminished greatly, and I could tell I was not on edge or feeling anxiety. I was just happier! So was my husband.

On the flip side I could tell that my voice was a bit raspier and my hair was oilier, and my cheeks looked flush and rosy throughout the day, but those things will either pass in time or be of no consequence.

I cannot believe the enormous change I felt in such a few days!! I can only think that the days ahead are going to be better and better. I feel so young again! And the things my balanced body are doing for me INSIDE that I cannot see is a whole exciting story in itself.

The staff and nurses and doctors are wonderful and so informative. Their use of only the finest products and labs and pharmacies is impressive. I have recommended HRC to EVERYONE who will listen. And many around me are just watching…so let them watch!

I’ve had a great experience with HRC. I see some, who have given reviews, have not. That’s too bad. But as a business owner myself I believe that comes along with the territory. Especially when you’re dealing with hormonal women!!

I am 46 yrs old. And was having awful night sweats & hot flashes. I have a good friend who had been going to HRC and could really tell a difference in her. So I went in for the consultation (had done a good bit of research beforehand), asked a few questions and got my blood drawn. Went back in the next week to get my pellets inserted. The nurse that gave me my pellets was informative in looking over my bloodwork, told me what to expect and took her time. Within like 3 days the sweating and hot flashes were gone. Something else I noticed was I was losing weight. And I really wasn’t even doing anything different than what I would normally do. I exercised before the therapy maybe 2-3 days a week, but after I got the pellets weight started coming off. Found out that from the nurse during my next visit that when your hormones are in balance it’s easier to lose weight. Love that!

Like I stated in the beginning I have had a great experience with HRC. Something I think most need to know, if they start this therapy, is that you will benefit a lot more the more you talk to them about what’s going on with you, how you feel, what the last round of pellets did or did not do because they determain your dose off your bloodwork and what you tell them. It’s not a “one size fits all”. Everyone is different, and feels different, at different levels.

To conclude I will mention that before HRC I also went to another office in Nashville who does the pellets. Even though they were a little cheaper in price (and ran down HRC when I brought them up) I did not feel comfortable with them. And to top it off, after about 3 weeks of meeting with them one of their nurses called me and said she could do the treatment out of her house for much less than quoted. That’s got to be illegal, right?

3 years ago I was told that I was going through early menopause because I was not putting out enough estrogen and would not be able to have any more children. I was 33 years old at the time, had 1 child, yet still devistated. I ended up ha…ving other side effects besides hot flashes, no energy, etc. and ended up seeing an Endo at Vanderbilt. It turned out I had a Growth Hormone Deficiency as well as Hypogonadism (where your pituitary gland quits putting out your sex hormones.) Vanderbilt would not treat my Hypogonadism issues nor would any OBGYN b/c I was so young. I live in Huntsville, AL, but am from Nashville and my parents still live there. One day my mom called me and told me about HRC. I was so miserable with the hot flashes and no energy, I decided to drive to Nashville for an 1 hour appt. and drive home. I had to tell my Endo what I was doing because the hormones HRC was putting in me could have affected my Growth hormone levels. My Endo told me not to waste my money that it would not work. I told him it was worth a shot because no one else could help me. I started going to HRC in October 2009. The staff was incredible. They were so kind and stressed to me that they treat the symptoms and would help make feel better. After the first inplant, my hot flashes weren’t as frequent. The second implant they gave me was in December and they upped my estrogen some especially since it was 30 degrees outside and I told them I had to ride around with my sunroof down. I found out in the middle of January 2010 that I was pregnant. YES PREGNANT! After having 3 specialist tell me there was no way I would get pregnant, I did after my second inplant. Unfortunately I paid for a year at HRC and could not use it, but I have a beautiful baby boy because of it. The Dr.’s are still baffled till this day. So yes…I have an incredible success story! It’s been a year and I was thrilled when I saw HRC opened a location here in Huntsville. That is wonderful news. Of course now with a baby in dayvare, I am not sure I can afford it, but I do highly recommend it to anyone that is having issues with weight gain, hot flashes, lack of energy etc. Thank you HRC.

I have been having hormone replacement therapy through HRC Charlotte for almost a year, and could not be more pleased! The staff is professional and the results have been fantastic! Insurance typically will not cover treatment, they see it as optional, and HRC told me that up front. The results have been worth every cent!! Frankly it would be a bargain at twice the price.

My good days are back. I have been in this program for about nine months and the changes are hard for me to believe!
