HRC Medical Makes Great Strides for Hormone Therapy Research
HRC Medical Centers recently took a giant step toward the future of hormone replacement therapy. The company is following through on a bold initiative to create an authoritative institution for hormone research and education.
The new organization, called the HRC Medical Foundation, will play multiple roles. Not only will it serve to inform people about the various ways hormone therapy can improve their lives, but it will also be used to refine medical knowledge in general about the use of bio Natural Hormones.
Since it’s founding in 2007, HRC Medical as a management company, has worked with physicians in providing affordable natural hormone replacement therapy to Americans at 37 locations in 21 states.
HRC through it’s affiliated physicians, has already helped tens of thousands improve their well being through the revolutionary AMOR VIE program, In doing so, the company wanted to ensure that they remained on the cutting edge of all things hormone. Thus, HRC made the decision to fund research to advance the general understanding of hormones and how they can be used more effectively.
Hormone replacement therapy has come a long way since its first documented use in the US in 1939, and the HRC Medical Foundation aims to be a catalyst for breakthroughs in hormone research and treatment methods in the future. HRC plans to delve deeply into a number of topics related to hormone treatment.
Currently, at the top of the priority list of subjects to cover are the following issues:
Things certainly seem promising on this front, as subcutaneous pellets, like the ones used in AMOR VIE treatment, have been shown to be a more effective administration method than injections, creams/gels, and oral administration. HRC has hypothesized that hepatic function is not compromised by TRT under the subcutaneous pellet method, and the studies undertaken so far have been consistent with this conjecture. More studies are needed.
About half of all women will become osteoporotic post-menopause. Fortunately, at least two studies have shown that TRT can increase bone mineral density.
In traditional hormone replacement methods, patients sometimes forget a dose, causing blood levels to drop below a therapeutic threshold, which slows progress. Much research suggests that the pellet method that HRC Physician’s employ encourages better patient compliance than other methods such as gels, injections, or patches.
Progesterone acts as a natural balance to estrogen, preventing estrogen from becoming “dominant.” Estrogen dominance has been shown to create pathology in certain cases. Women start to experience progesterone drop off in the 30s, as they continue to create estradiol into their 50s and into menopause. HRC hopes to evaluate women in their 30s to determine progesterone deficiency and if replacement therapy causes a significant decrease in estrogen dominant cancers later in life.
Don Hale, current President of HRC, is proud of the new forays into hormone treatment research. Don Hale and his wife were large influences in the creation of HRC Medical, as the idea for the company truly got off the ground when the two decided to experience hormone therapy for themselves. “We had such a powerful experience that I wanted to share this with as many people as possible,” Don Hale said. “Amor Vie® Therapy restored our energy, renewed our marriage and we rejoice with every new patient we are able to help.”
If the HRC Medical Foundation can deliver as advertised, the future looks bright for HRC Medical and for bio Natural Hormone Replacement in general.
